Each year 91大神has a number of scholarships and awards available to support 91大神coursework students undertaking an overseas Exchange Program (outbound Exchange). 91大神and awards are intended to assist with the costs of studying overseas, and are awarded across a range of areas.

University students from partner universities (inbound Exchange) or who are participating in the Study Abroad program at 91大神(inbound Exchange), should contact the team for information on available scholarships and awards.

MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS & AWARDS


Eligible 91大神students participating in an Official Exchange Program in 2025 are not required to submit an application for the awards listed in this section. Eligible students will be automatically considered for these awards.

Offers for these awards will be made to eligible students on a competitive basis using your Weighted Average Mark (WAM). You do not need to submit any specific scholarship application or additional supporting documentation to be considered.

EQUITY SCHOLARSHIPS & AWARDS听


91大神will participate in September Round 2 and March 2025 Round 1 of the UAC Equity Round.听

To be considered for the following, applicants must have completed a application for 2024-25 and be a 91大神student participating in an Official Exchange Program in 2025. Eligible students with a 2024-25 UAC Equity Scholarship application will be automatically considered for these awards.

Term 1 Exchange Students whom wish to be considered for equity scholarships and awards must apply to UAC by 11:59pm, 06 September 2024.听

Term 3 Exchange Students whom wish to be considered for equity scholarships and awards must apply to UAC by 11:59pm, 31 January 2025.听

The following scholarships, awards and grants may also be available to support overseas exchange. Please note that these are not necessarily administered by 91大神Scholarships, though we will endeavour to provide further information where possible.

  • New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant for Exchange
  • New Colombo Plan Scholarship听

The New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant for Exchange does not require a dedicated application. You will be automatically considered for this grant and will be notified via email if successful in receiving an offer. Further information is available in the Student Exchange Tutorial hosted in Moodle:听.

Applications for the New Colombo Plan Scholarship are hosted by the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade, and are open for a limited time period. Applications for the 2025 offering of the New Colombo Plan Scholarship are closed. Applications for 2026 are expected to open around April 2025. We will provide further information on this page once applications are open.

Value

$5,000 paid as a one-off lump sum.

There is no application required for this Award.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be or currently enrolled in any 91大神coursework program; and
  • Be selected to undertake a 91大神Exchange Program; and
  • Be accepted by a 91大神Exchange Partner Institution.

Selection Criteria

Each candidate will be automatically assessed on their ability to demonstrate:

$5,000 paid as a one-off lump sum.

There is no application required for this Award.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Meet the eligibility criteria for an Official 91大神Exchange Program; and,
  • Have been accepted by an Official 91大神Exchange Program overseas partner institution and accepted the offer; and,
  • Be enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce (International) (3558) program.

Selection Criteria

Each candidate will be automatically assessed on their ability to demonstrate:

$2,000 paid as a one-off lump sum.

There is no application required for this Award.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Meet the eligibility criteria for an Official 91大神Exchange Program; and,
  • Have been accepted by an Official 91大神Exchange Program overseas partner institution and accepted the offer; and,
  • Be enrolled in a UNSW听coursework program offered by the Faculty of Engineering.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled in an eligible 91大神degree program; and
  • Be eligible and have been accepted to undertake a 91大神Official Exchange Program at a 91大神exchange partner university; and
  • Be studying a Business degree component while on exchange.

Selection Criteria

Each candidate will be automatically assessed on their ability to demonstrate:

Value

$6,000 paid as a one-off lump sum.

Application Process

There is no application required for this Award.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident; and,听
  • Meet the eligibility criteria for an Official 91大神Exchange Program; and,
  • Have been approved to undertake exchange for one or two semester(s) at an approved international University; and,
  • Be enrolled in a 91大神undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree program.
  • Not be in receipt of another award and/ or scholarship relating to their exchange.听

Douglas N Daft Exchange Award (UGTR1024)

$5,000 paid as a one-off lump sum.

There is no application required for this Award.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (including Permanent Humantarian Visa Holders) or New Zealand Citizen; and,听
  • Be currently enrolled in an eligible 91大神degree program offered by the 91大神Business School
  • Be eligible and have been accepted to undertake a 91大神Official Exchange Program at a 91大神exchange partner university in Asia; and
  • Be enrolled in a 91大神Business School undergraduate coursework degree program (enrolment in a double degree in combination with a 91大神Business School program is also permissible.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be currently enrolled in an eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree program.
  • Be eligible and have been accepted to undertake a 91大神Official Exchange Program; and
  • Have not been award a 91大神Scholarsihp or Award for the same 91大神Official Exchange Program.听

Selection Criteria

Each candidate will be automatically assessed on their ability to demonstrate:

RC Sutton/ Jardin Matheson Scholarship (UGTR1044)

Value

$5,000 paid as a one-off lump sum.

There is no application required for this Award.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must meet all the following criteria:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (including Permanent Humantarian Visa Holders) or New Zealand Citizen; and,听
  • Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate 91大神degree program offered by the 91大神Business School; and
  • Be eligible and have been accepted to undertake a 91大神Official Exchange Program at a 91大神exchange partner university in Asia; and
  • Be studying a Business degree component while on exchange.

Each candidate will be automatically assessed on their ability to demonstrate:

Faculty of Engineering Exchange Assistance Award (UGTR1041)

$5,000 paid as a one-off lump sum.

Application Process

There is no application required for this Award. Although, an active application is required.

Term 1 Exchange Students whom wish to be considered for equity scholarships and awards must apply to UAC by 11:59pm, 06 September 2024.听

Term 3 Exchange Students whom wish to be considered for equity scholarships and awards must apply to UAC by 11:59pm, 31 January 2025.听

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Meet the eligibility criteria for an Official 91大神Exchange Program; and,
  • Have been accepted by an Official 91大神Exchange Program overseas partner institution and accepted the offer; and,
  • Be enrolled in a 91大神undergraduate coursework program offered by the Faculty of Engineering; and.
  • Demonstrate at least one disadvantage through a application.

Selection Criteria

Each candidate will be considered on the basis of their UAC Equity Scholarship (ES) application and ability to demonstrate one or more of the identified criteria for equity scholarships. Awards will be allocated to students identified to be in the greatest needed based on the UAC data provided.

91大神Student Exchange Equity Scholarship (UGTR1046)

Value

$12,000 paid as a one-off lump sum.

Application Process

There is no application required for this Award. Although, an active application is required.

Term 1 Exchange Students whom wish to be considered for equity scholarships and awards must apply to UAC by 11:59pm, 06 September 2024.

Term 3 Exchange Students whom wish to be considered for equity scholarships and awards must apply to UAC by 11:59pm, 31 January 2025.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Meet the eligibility criteria for an Official 91大神Exchange Program; and,
  • Have been accepted by an Official 91大神Exchange Program overseas partner institution and accepted the offer; and,
  • Be enrolled in a 91大神undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program; and.
  • Demonstrate at least one disadvantage through a application.

Selection Criteria

Sarah Walters 40th Anniversary Exchange Award (UGTR1004)

Value

$5,000 paid as a one-off lump sum.

Application Process

There is no application required for this Award.

Eligibility

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be Domestic - Australian Citizen, Permanent Risdent (including Humanitarian Visa Holders) or New Zealand Citizen; and
  • Be currently enrolled and undertaking full-time undergraduate coursework study in the School of Social Sciences; and
  • Be eligible and have been accepted to undertake a 91大神Official Exchange Program at a 91大神exchange partner university; and

Selection Criteria

Each candidate will be considered on the basis of their UAC Equity Scholarship (ES) application and ability to demonstrate one or more of the identified criteria for equity scholarships. Awards will be allocated to students identified to be in the greatest needed based on the UAC data provided.
